St. Vincent de Paul Center’s Outreach Program is a key resource for vulnerable individuals and families, especially those at high risk because of limited income, housing options and employment opportunities. The Outreach program is committed to providing support through an array of services designed to strengthen and empower those most in need to increase their skills, knowledge, and support networks. 

The Outreach Program sees over 3,500 clients annually. About 40% of clients come to access the food pantry, and over 10% are new clients each year. Outreach staff provides personalized attention to meet individual client needs. 

Outreach services include:

Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am-2pm
  • CEDA/LIHEAP Intake 
  • Access to telephone and computer
  • Assistance with applying for public benefits and forms of identification
  • Assistance with housing searches and applications
  • Assistance with resumes, job searches, and interview-appropriate clothing 
  • With appropriate referral letter, access to a shower and change of clothing

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-2pm
  • Food Pantry, serving any individual one time regardless of area they live in, and one time per month for those residing in 60605, 60607, 60614, 60654, 60657, 60661
  • CEDA/LIHEAP Intake
