Marillac St. Vincent Family Services is lead by the following individuals:
Anthony C. Chimera, President & CEO: Anthony joined Marillac St. Vincent Family Services as President & CEO in October 2016. He has dedicated his career to working with mission-driven organizations throughout Chicago having served as President and Chief Results Officer at The Kaleidoscope Group (KG), a consulting firm specializing in diversity and inclusion, Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Adler University, Executive Director of Development at Dominican University, and Vice President for Institutional Advancement at De La Salle Institute. Anthony brings more than 25 years of executive leadership to Marillac St. Vincent, with deep experience in board and leadership development, nonprofit management, fundraising and development, strategic planning, strategic partnerships, and organizational culture. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Dominican University in River Forest. He is a long-time youth sports coach and mentor, and an active member of St. Damian Catholic Parish in Oak Forest. Anthony is a Chicago native and resides in Oak Forest with his wife, Sherri, and three children, Francesca, Anthony, and Gabriel.
Maureen Hallagan, CPO:Maureen has been Executive Director of Marillac Social Center since 2005 and Chief Programs Officer since 2015. Maureen directs all of the Marillac St. Vincent Social Service Programs. Maureen has a Bachelor's of Social Work and a Master's of Social Work from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois Chicago. Previously, Maureen was the Director of Project Hope and Hope Junior for 18 years.
Karen Kane, CFO: Karen has served as Chief Financial Officer since July, 2015 and has been involved with Marillac St. Vincent Family Services for over 20 years including serving as Chair of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Finance Committee. Prior to joining MSV, Karen’s 30+ year financial career was with for-profit companies, including most recently as Group Senior Vice President Finance at RR Donnelley. She has a B.S. in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University, MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Management Accountant, and a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Sister Germaine Price, D.C., Vice President of Mission Integration: Sister Germaine Price, VP of Mission Integration for Marillac St. Vincent Family Services since Oct, 2015. Sister received a BS in Mathematics from Marillac College in St. Louis, a MA in Mathematics from St. Louis University in St. Louis and a Masters in Pastoral Theology from Loyola University in New Orleans. Prior to coming to Chicago, Sister served as a Missionary in several different countries and most recently she served as the main representative of the Daughters of Charity NGO at the United Nations in New York. She also serves as Mission Integration Coordinator at St. Joseph Services here in Chicago.
Tracie Frederick, Director of Development: Tracie has served as Director of Development at Marillac St. Vincent Family Services since December 2009. She has a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from Iowa State University. Prior to joining Marillac St. Vincent Family Services, Tracie worked at North Shore Country Day School in Winnetka, IL as the Annual Giving Coordinator.
Joanna Burke, Director of Early Childhood Development: Joanna started with Marillac St. Vincent Family Services in 2014 as the Director of Child Development for St. Vincent de Paul Center and is now the Director of Early Childhood encompassing Birth to Three & Preschool Programs for both St. Vincent de Paul Center and Marillac Social Center. Prior to her work here Joanna was a Director for Base Child Care in the South Suburbs for four years, and the Executive Director of a teen center north of Chicago for three years. She graduated with honors with a BA from Earlham College in Peace Studies, focusing on conflict resolution & youth, and received her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Administration from National Louis University.
Kathy Slover, Director of Community Outreach Services: Kathy has been part of Marillac St. Vincent Family Services since October 2002, serving for the past ten years as Director of the Senior Services and Community Outreach programs. She has a BA in Psychology from De Paul University’s School for New Learning, and a Master’s in Nonprofit Management from De Paul’s School for Public Service. Prior to her tenure at Marillac St Vincent Family Services, Kathy was Director of Intergenerational Programs at Hull House Association.
Albert Richardson, Director of Youth Services: Albert has been with Marillac St. Vincent Family Services since September 1996, serving for the past eight-teen years as a School-age teacher and Counselor for both School-age and Hope Junior programs and transitioned to Director of Youth Services in 2015. Albert has an Associate Degree in Social Work-Youth Work from Harold Washington College along with a certification as a Youth Development Practitioner, and a BA in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University where he graduated as a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social Workers.
Billy J. Treece, SHRM-CP, Human Resources Manager: Billy has been at the head of Human Resources since 2012. Billy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL, and is SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resources Management – Certified Professional) certified. Originally from Kankakee, Illinois, Billy has over ten years of progressive HR experience in transforming both for-profit and non-profit companies.
Sandra Aza, Director of Admissions & Client Services: Sandra has been with Marillac St. Vincent Family Services since October 2006, serving for the past four years as Admissions & Client Services Director for Child Development and School Age programs. She has a BA in Political Science from DePaul University and an MBA from the Brennan School of Business.
Michael (Mickey) Wilhelm, Director of Operations: Mickey has been director of Operations and Facilities for Marillac St. Vincent Family Services since July 2007. Mickey has Associate Degrees in Finance and Computer Science from Loop College and Morton College, Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering certification from DeVry Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Environmental Engineering from the Environmental Technical Institute. Prior to assuming his present position, Mickey was the Facility Manager at General Electric.
